Hi folks! I'm here to give you a wrap-up development blog on July!

The Patreon/Kofi demo was updated on July 17, finally picking up where chapter 5 left off. If Mordred turned down the tarot reading, the Dragon Friend has the opportunity to accept it instead, and later Mordred can have a talk with Nimue, catch up and digress into philosophical debates.

For the Knight tier, I wrote a short story from Elaine's POV, of her and Felix training and catching the attention of Galahad and Callum.

For the Champion Knight, Patreons voted for Gareth this time round, with a playful, energetic Mordred and not-close-but-get-along dynamic. The story saw the siblings bonding over games.

I've recently updated the public demo, for those of you who may have missed it, with the dragon-related changes and new content spanning chapters 1 throughout 3.

I'm not done with the rewrites though - I still have chapter 4, and the first half of chapter 5 - but I wanted to work a little bit on the continuation of chapter 5. As much as I love the Dragon Friend and revisiting the early chapters, I needed a break to work on other scenes, and I felt particularly inspired for the upcoming bits after the tarot reading. So I'll be focusing a bit more of my energy here before returning to chapter 4.

What I'm preparing for the August Patreon/Kofi demo update: more Nimue content, and a new Galahad scene! The Knight tier story will give us a look at the first Pendragon ruler, and the Champion Knight one will feature Galahad, as voted by Patreons.

On less a positive note, BoC has been shadowbanned on itchio, which means in no longer shows up in their search function (and I believe neither does it show up in the relevant tags, or recent updates, etc). However, it still appears in results on your search engine of choice, and you can access the game page through links, as before. I'm looking to set up a neocities page, just in case, but I won't take BoC off itchio myself. I've heard some NSFW free games have been re-indexed, though I don't know yet whether I should wait for itchio to do something, or reach out to them myself. (And mind you, BoC has never been tagged NSFW, explicit, mature or anything like that, but I understand its themes could... get it under scrutiny. I mean, I did have the words "incestuous bastard" in the game description. And with LGBT games - even SFW ones - being affected, too, it's just a muddled mess and this whole censorship shouldn't have started in the first place.) 

So, just in case something happens to the BoC itchio page, I encourage people to follow me on Tumblr/Patreon/Kofi (you can freely follow a creator on Patreon/Kofi) if you haven't already.

To bring it back to a positive note, I want to start posting more fun little extras on Tumblr/Patreon/Kofi for everyone, such as sneak peeks for public updates and lore tidbits, so stay tuned for that!
